“Allah changed not the condition of a folk until they (first) change that is in their hearts; and if Allah willeth misfortune for a folk , there is none that can repel it , nor have they a defender beside them”
I came across this surah when I prayed to Allah for help and enlightenment for a problem which has bothered me and which i felt was so difficult to solve that until now has been unanswered. My faith never wavered so I tried to find solace in the wisdom of Allah’s word in the Holy Quran. And true enough , the answer was there so crystal clear and simple.
The surrah revealed Allah’s warning that the prayers of a defender of a deceiver will never be heard nor answered if he refuses to believe and change what is in his heart. Any misfortune therefore that befalls him cannot be changed by anyone. Ameen.
